National Cycle Route from Sheffield to Rotherham on Europa Link business park. Dedicated cycleway rutted & split by root damage for about a mile along the route. Odd repairs done but roots are again coming through these repairs. Very difficult to ride on thin tyres. Many cyclists use road instead of cycle lane due to poor surface. However, road narrow and traffic often fast moving. Seconds after I took this picture a car sped past at 70mph. Cars & lorries often pass too close & fast with the odd driver suggesting strongly I use the cycle lane.
